"Good night!" Did that come from the old John Belushi skit, "The Thing that Wouldn't Leave" on SNL?

Why is that? Pictures don't lie...

Besides, I've figured out a way around it. Since I'm travelling backwards in time, I can process the film FIRST! That should work, right?

I was just down at the local photo arts center; somebody must have just cleaned out grandpa's darkroom and brought in about a dozen GE #22 flashbulbs. They are lightbulb size, and fit into standard Edison screw-in sockets - you can but you shouldn't fire 'em off with 120VAC. I grabbed 3 and took 'em...

There's the trick. Problems in the human realm are a result of human nature, which sometimes but not always gets expressed in the public sector. Certainly a love story can exist independently from any overarching political framework; boy meets girl etc. can occur in a pagan tribe or technocracy with...

I'm amazed you guys can remember so much Star Wars trivia. I must have been stoned when I saw the original in '77; I remember the bar scene and the death star, but all the rest was wallpaper. Certainly not the life-defining experience so many others report.

Interesting comparison. Nanook was a real eskimo. He died of starvation while his film was still travelling the first run movie circuit.

One of the great aspects of Betacam and Betacam SP is its archival quality. It's probably the best ever long term analog video storage medium, with bandwidth and color quality as good as any, and a solid tape medium to hold the signal. A tape flaw on Betacam will lose only the frame that is damaged,...

I've seen the same problem with the S207XL and S715XL cameras, the plastic locking tabs break. Maybe someone acquainted with a metal shop could get these tabs fabricated in steel and we could replace them in our cameras.

Bummer. Someone pulled an email scam on me last year; I sent them a 70HR together with 400' magazine in the mail and they claimed to have never received it. I don't know what happened, but I received the magazine back (reboxed in a new package) several weeks later!

Depends on how long you intend to store them before you use them. If you keep them in the fridge or freezer they'll last for years without significant change. But it's best just to shoot it when you have it and get more when the need arises (so says someone with too much film in his freezer).
