Kodak introduces Vision3 50D color negative in Super 8

Post by Nicholas Kovats »

Wow,

This is one gorgeous stock and reflects my growing dissatisfaction with the limited latitude and crushed highlights experienced with my predominate shoooting with E100D stock in the UP8 formats, i.e.

http://motion.kodak.com/motion/About/Th ... /index.htm

However, I am still saddened by the reduced options available to the Super 8 community with Kodak's announcement of discontinuing E100D film. And the fact remains that my original color reversal UP8 projection prints exemplify amazing color fidelity, clarity and sharpness.

Talk about a major one-two punch. One hand giveth the other taketh.

If it is not going to be Euro 25 per piece.

Remarkable enough though there are sellers who offer all Kodak S8 at the same price.
Kind regards,

Kodak negative stocks are around 15 € in Bluecinetech, so no need to pay more for it 8)

This will be my most favored Super 8 stock. Great for sunny days.

The funny and nice and great thing is that this will resurrect and give new life to 40/160 Super8 cameras.
I like that.
