Ektachrome 100D inthe evening

Post by chorleycake »

Hi all, daylight balanced films go very redish when used in the evening. Is there a filter that will partially correct this without losing all the speed that the daylight to artificial light filter does? I think the normal D to A filter reduces the film speed to only 25ASA. Thanks MIKE

ASA 25 is not that bad if you are still shooting in daylight. I think the existing light should be sufficient enough to get decent exposure. If the color temperature for the given time of day is above 3200 k, The ASA will be above 25. If it is lower, the ASA will be less than 25 ( as the apropriate filter dictates).
