Filter Retracting Screw

Post by kaczjoe+ »

Does anybody know where I can get my hands on a filter retracting screw?
My Minolta autopak-8 d10 package is missing it. It seems that it may be handy to retracting the 85 filter on occassion.

I've seen a few of cameras that have a filter retraction screw (mostly Sankyo cameras), the ones I have seen use the same screw as the tripod mount on the bottom - 1/4inch.

If you have a tripod, monopod, shoulder pod... you could try the screw and see if it fits.

The filter retraction screw - or a filter key for that matter - is the most commonly lost accessory for super 8 cameras. But its no problem. You can go to a hardware store and buy a small bolt that fits the thread. Take your camera in to make sure it fits.
