Do many of you remember this show?

Post by Patrick »

I was browsing through Youtube and came across the intro to the sci-fi / fantasy show of old called Land Of The Lost. What a blast from the past! I haven't seen it for decades. And to think, in those days, I used to think it was a quality show...!

With an avatar like mine I vaguely remember it......I wonder if it's on DVD now - I think my kids would like it! Great effects on the opening too! (Kind of - if you know what I mean...)

I loved Land Of Lost and H.R. Pufnstuf. Though far more recent, Cartoon Network’s Saul of the Mole Men is equally so bad that it’s actually great as well, but not for the kids of course.

I grew up on the original LotL!! Saturdays were the best back then. Syd and Marty Kroftt RULED Saturday mornings.

Who could forget the Sleestak, Chaka and the weather manipulating Pyramids and crystals?

Too bad kids these days have nothing to look forward to on Saturday mornings.

Yeah, but I would have given my left knut for a Wii if they'd had them back then.

Lets go back to the fifties. Does anyone remember Captain Midnight and his sidekick Ichabod Mudd?

Was Captain Midnight an Ovaltine decoder ring type radio program?
