Yes, it gives very nice results.
You have to do the following settings: disengage the filter manually with the filter key; only film on the setting "+" - if you film with the main switch on the dot setting you will get slightly underexposed footage.

Hi Thanks for the information on the Mini 5. Does this camera have a main switch to shut down the camera when not in use? The reason I ask is that I saw one on ebay that looks to be in good condition but the owner says he can't get it to work. Thanks MIKE

The main switch is a dial on the side of the camera with the settings "0" (= off), dot (= on), "+" (= on with backlight correction).
You can not really miss it and I suspect that the camera you are talking about is not working because of another reason: very common with Eumig Mini cameras is a stuck motor; after a long time lying round it needs a bit of a shove to start moving again. Another possibility is bad battery contacts.
The Eumig Minis are a series of good simple cameras that don't have a high market value though, so don't pay too much. If they are faulty they are usually easy to repair.

Hello Alex,

I have been testing an Eumig Mini 5 I bought some time ago. It seems to run otherwise nice, but occasionally the motor seems to get stuck -- I can hear the motor near the lens trying to turn but film isn't moving. And then, after some time it might work again.

I wonder if this is something that gets better just by using or should I try to have the camera opened up and cleaned?
