Are you talking about a magazine load camera? The term cartridge was never used with standard 8mm. The vast majority of 8mm cameras were roll loading, although there a few cameras that took a magazine. Bell & Howell even introduced their own self loading magazine to make the 25 ft flip over almost an instant affair.
Anyway, I own a double 8mm Minolta Zoom 8 (roll loading)...it was an excellent camera. Still have it but it went dead, never opened up the inards....it is in mint condition.

Is this it?

If so it is a nice camera. I could never find a manual for download but did get one with a parts camera.

I did a quick scan of it for anyone who needs one.

This is the Minolta Zoom 8. I have three manuals for this camera if anyone needs one.
I am curious though - I have three of these cameras. One with serial number 138xxx, then 214xxx, and last 241xxx
First has a reddish/bluish lens coating, second has DEEP cobalt blue coating like literally staring into an dark abyss, and the third has an orangish coating. The first which is the oldest works the best with it exposure system. Second runs but exposure system does not work, third has a sluggish exposure system
What is the story with the ever changing coating color on these cameras? What is the color of coating on yours and the serial number?
