Just wanted to recommend this wonderful site with historical photographs taken in the US (theyre in high resolution).

Fantastic, thanks Jan!

I loved one of the comments on a depression-era photo of a mother and kids dressed in rags: "The picture is of far higher quality than existed in that era. It's obviously a fake."
