Subscription prices are to increase January 1st (exact rates are yet undetermined), so between now and December 31st subscription rates are at the ridiculously low price of $24.95 for 6 issues (one year). Rates to Canada are $29.95; The Rest of the Planet $44.95 AIR MAIL.
Or go on the website and buy just the current issue and see for yourself.

Yeah, what is up with that, Chris?

Who knew Super-8 women could be so sexy? :o

I should have had my lead actress pose with my Canon!

Thanks everyone for their kind comments.
And yes the chicks on the covers do seem to get hotter.

This cover is a picture of Cline Mayo, a very competent director who made a film with a good bit of Super-8 in it. Not only does she look incredible, but in her own words she "loves Super-8." What a wonderful combination, don't you think?

The only little issue here is that the text on the cover does not make it clear who is the woman in the picture. The name Cline Mayo should have appeared in some context in the right hand corner or beside the picture. Better yet, a picture of the two women could have been much better.
In all truth, I was not sure if the woman on the cover was one of the two women, or just a model. I certainly would not go with the latter as i consider it a manipulative selling point. I am glad the woman on the cover is one of the two women mentioned, but I wish it was clear which one.

The first page of every issue (the editor's comments) has at the bottom an area that says "ON THE COVER" followed by a description of who is on the cover, some other details, and if I took the picture, even what 35mm slide film was used. It just keeps the cover looking "cleaner" to put this information on the inside.

Yes.... whenever the latest issue comes out, starting that day all new subscribers begin with the current issue, which in this case, is #7.
