Using the Sony TRV-320 for telecine

I would like to try to do some home telecine with it but I would like to get some advice first about what exposure settings and slow shutter mode to use, ect. I also know th...

Anscovision 388 Z Projector Bulb

My bulb on my Anscovision 388 Z Projector just went out and I need to know what kind of bulb it is to get a new one. The writing on it is faded and all I can make out is that it is a GE 50W DFP bulb. Whats the voltage?

Transfer Screen

Where can I buy one of those transfer screens? You know the ones where you project the image onto a mirror and then film the refected image on the screen. I know I'm going to be disliked for asking this question but I just want to know where I could buy one online. I haven't been able to find one an...

Canon Auto Zoom 518: sound?

I purchased a Canon Auto Zoom 518 recently and found that it had what appeared to be a 3.5 mini jack that was labeled "sound". Above that there is a jack labeled "remote". Is there some way I could hook this up to a tape recorder to record sync sound or would I have to buy some obscure canon recordi...

I'm going to try your method of modding the cart. Could you venture a guess as to a sutable ND filter I could use to expose the film at 64? Thanks again, videoguy326

I no very little about density filters. So could someone tell me if this: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/product/102704/LEND.433/REG/5037/Lee_3x3_Neutral_Density_(ND)_0.4_Polyester_Filter would work? Its a 3x3" 0.4 ND polyester gel. Could I just cut that down to size to place on my canon 310XL's electr...

64T and the Canon 310XL

According to the super8 wiki: http://super8wiki.com/index.php/Super_8_EKTACHROME_64T_motion_picture_film_exposed_in_old_cameras the canon 310XL camera reads the 64T film as 160ASA and a ND 0.4 neutral density filter on the electric eye should be used. My question is where can I get a ND 0.4 neutral ...

Problem with Anscovision 388 Projector

I just bought this GAF Anscovision 388 Z Projector from a flee market for $5. (I know you get what you pay for  ) but when I plugged it in and put it its play mode the reel did not move. However when the projector is in rewind mode the reel moves. I know it probably wouldn't be worth trying to ...

The lense can be detached from the projector for cleaning. The glass pieces that make up the lense can be taken out of the lens and re-arranged. My problem is that when I got the projector I accidentally loosened the lens and the glass pieces fell out. :( I never had a chance to test it before than....
