Re: Customer review: Universal 2K

I would also like to see some films scanned, scanned films. I have posted many videos of my self developed movie film on my YouTube channel. Too bad the idea hasn't caught on yet. It is very easy to do. Only takes a few minuets. Doesn't cost anything. Perhaps a Facebook Group could be started. Call ...

Re: 16mm

Lovely color. A monopod makes a good walking stick. Keystone cameras are real nice, I used one a lot. A Weston lV light meter completed the ensaumble. The camera even fit into my baggy pants pocket, but only with a normal lens.

Re: What have you been working on lately?

A Bolex H16 Rex 4 was bought then sent to Super16 Inc to get a CLA and laser brightening and some small repairs.

Re: What have you been working on lately?

Besides those things, I had two 75mm lenses lubricated and now one focuses. The other works smoothly but does not focus. The person who lubed it did not reset focus. Someone tinkered with it.

Re: Filters on H8 Macro Switar

Series 5 filters fit. Be sure to remove or space widely the long lens when wide is used. The shortest holders must be on the 5.5 lens. Fun to come!

Re: What have you been working on lately?

Been tuning up the H16 T with lens caps, non RX 10mm, 2 inch f1.5 Elgeet, fast new tv 50mm lens, and trying to push 7266 using D-19 which did not work but I did get box speed in low light outdoors.

New Regular 8mm Group

Posts about one format get buried fast on forums so I started a Facebook group only about using Regular 8mm movie film. https://www.facebook.com/groups/295408357640803/ It is not about collecting cameras or projecting old movies. This is only for people willing to make new films. Use it or loose it....

Re: Paillard Bolex - help??

That looks a lot like my outfit. It is a nonreflex H16 Bolex. I shoot Kodak Tri-X reversal 7266 and develop it myself then project it. Try it. It is a lot of fun. Look on eBay under Bolex H16 and you will see others like yours. What do you want for it? I would like to have a backup so one of them co...

Re: Lens for turret of H8 reflex

My 5.5 preset lens will not macro and doesn't say macro, but it focuses to below 4 1/2 inches, the other two say and do macro. The 16mm lenses none are macro except the 150. Not the 10, the 16 the 25 nor the 75

The bell and Howell filmo is my all time favorite. I have it in 8mm and in 16mm with the extensions to the winders.

Stand reversing 7266

Kodak Tri-X reversal 16mm film is being stand processed again in a new little test. So I have time to play on the computer. This is the first attempt. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NAjrn76POqY

Re: Universal now offering 2K and Audio modules!

Since the machine does slides, could it do 100 foot rolls of 35mm film? Hand cranked 35mm film cameras seem to be popular. I know I want one of the old ones that hold 100 ft rolls. Eyemo. We have a back burner project of building a 35mm cine gate but it's admittedly a slow process because it has to...

Makes some videos and show what they look like. Overexpose and underdevelop, underexpose and overdevelop, these are tools I've read about that pros use.
