Eclair ACL II Motor
My Eclair ACL 2 has developed a fault with the heavy duty motor. The camera was recently serviced so I know that isn't the problem but I have been running the camera at 75fps shooting 400ft magazines. I have had a specialist look at the motor and apparently the circuit boards are the weak point. I would like to keep the camera running if possible. Can any one help with useful information or even a motor for sale. Stuart

Re: Eclair ACL II Motor
Hi Stuart,
The electronic control board (single board) is located in the body base.
Why do you want a replacement motor? Are you sure that your motor has some issues? Its difficult to find one spare. It was made by French Thomson-CSF. Also replacing the motor requires shutter/claw sync adjustment.
Did you check it without the mag is attached (under no-load)?
Does the out-of-sync lamp goes on?
Please tell more about the issue.
