auricon optical sound recording
I want to record optical sound with my Auricon CM71 camera and NR amplifier but cant obtain the obsolete batteries required to power the amplifier. Is there any way around this problem- also, is the auricon microphone required.

You probably dont need the exact batteries, just know the voltage and use similar voltage batteries or a combination.
Does the auricon actually burn in the sound on the optical track while filming? wouldnt the light fog the rest of the film?
