Beaulieu 4008 ZM light Meter issue

Post by srcbikes »

I have a Beaulieu 4008 ZM that the light meter needle in the view finder says down at all times. It will not move when I check the battery check at well.
The aperture adjusts on the lens as I move the camera that when checked with a Sekonic light meter is spot on, but the needle in the view finder never moves.
Any ideas as to how to fix this or is it even worth fixing if everything else seems to be working fine.
I will be shooting my first test roll of TriX on Wednesday.

Don't bother fixing it. It has been a long time since I shot with my 4008ZMII but I rarely used the internal meter. The "Sunny 16 Rule" and my handheld meter is what I have always relied on.

Good Luck
