VIDEO NOW FILM

Post by BW Video »

Hello, I am a video (TV) camera op by trade, and was recently given a super 8 camera, so of course now bought a used projector (Kodak MediaDeck 475). I am looking to find a manual for this projector, as well as shooting tips. I am used to it being simply just putting a tape in the deck and hitting play... film is way over my head, but I am gonna learn and become great at this.
I also produce a highlight video for my kid's sports teams and am sure that adding film footage would make the video's really "pop". I recently also was contacted by a hopeful future client, they inquired if BW Video Productions has the ability to transfer old home movies to HD Video. Since a client asked, that usually means that I do whatever I can to make it happen, so I of course also went and purchased gear to make the transfer.
I am seeking any and all advice, (hopefully this is ok) please email me, brett@bw-video.com.
Thanks in advance for any and all advice
Brett

I think you are referring to the Moviedeck 475, not a "mediadeck".

However, Google gives some results:

Anyone have a manual?

So, what kind of gear did you buy to make transfers?
