Chemistry Question

Post by popcassady »

I'll be building a devloping rack using some aluminium wire, like the stuff from this place: http://www.yellowcatshop.co.uk/shop/def ... id=3500142

Would the alumium coming into contact with the chemistry (B&W) be likely to cause any problems?

Don't dip it into bleach (for reversal). This is very acid and will wear out metals very quickly.
Kind regards,

Wash them off after and you ought to be OK.

If you use any sort of stop bath check the acidity.
The government says that by 2010 30% of us will be fat....I am merely a trendsetter :)

You might be better off with PVC or polypropylene parts - but you probably already know that...

That's one reason why I love Kodak. Looks like I've got some good reading for the weekend.
