I'm going to produce a DVD shortly which will have three super 8 shorts and two 16mm.

Later this summer will be a 20 minute long 16mm film in Japanese with many special features...

Pure Sweet Hell looks really good. I cant wait to see it since I have some sense of the dirt bike culture having been an enduro rider in my younger days.

Matt Pacini's "Lost Tribes" which you can get on NTSC VHS

"Appleseed Lake" which I think you can get on DVD

and of course our own Roger Evan's "The Jet Benny Show"

also there's a nother Australian one called "Dawn of the DMF's" which I've never seen - and that American mutant one - what's that called?? -- and the Polish vampire in Burbank -- there's a few - who can collect them all? - Necrophilliac too....

Scot, thanks for the information. You're a big help. I dont know that I will buy them all but at least all the ones that interest me either because they're from this forum or because someone from this forum causes me to take a look.

Maybe I will narrow it down to a workable list. I am more inclined to want to collect films from film makers I can communicate online with. IMO thats one of the positive aspects of the format.

It's exciting because this is the first time Ive exposed myself to the work of so many others and fascinating as to how much detail its possible to capture in that tiny frame. I think 16 is a piece of cake compared to super 8. It takes ba**s to invest to such a large time resource on such a small frame.

Looking forward to receiving those dvds too. Thanks for the suggestions.

Lief Jonker's Darkness (soon out in a remastered 2-disc from Barrel Entertainment).

Nekromantic of course (out on U.S. DVD through Barrel).

Age of Insects, did that one ever make it to DVD? I used to hear a great deal about it when Film Threat released it on VHS.

Great. Do you have a link to purchase? I did a search on google and came up with reviews but no direct link. Im on the run this week so will have to try more later when I get back down south tomorrow night. Maybe Amazon???

I will have a DVD soon of my last three films: The Interior, Winter Water and The Burning of Girolamo Savonarola. Only the last is shot on super-8.

In September/October the Super-8 Cities project will be available on DVD.

Well Barrel's website is at http://www.barrel-entertainment.com/ but since they're going through Ryko distribution hopefully the disc will show up at major retail stores like Best Buy. They do have a link to buy it at Amazon though on their website.

Amazon is a great service albeit expensive unless you're moving a lot of units. I think they are charging us something like 60% on cd sales. Once we got the barcode license it opened up a lot of retail type outlets to us and if nothing else you can offer fans a place to easily get it.

Having to wade through layers of stuff online to buy is prohibitive to the casual customer especially for the small producer. You simply must have your product available if its going to sell.

Got it in todays mail. I wont get a chance to view it until I get back to south Georgia but I like the alternative packaging.
