Artists' Super 8 film workshop
The no.w.here lab in London (the UK's only resource for artist film makers housing optical and contact printers, rostrum camera, telecine and steenbecks) is holding another of it's popular Super 8 courses on the 2nd and 3rd September 2005.
The course introduces artists and Super 8 users to the camera, filmstocks available, experimental film techniques, hand processing, and how Super 8 can be re-worked on 16mm using the optical printer etc.
The course includes screenings of classic artist's Super 8 works from the uk and beyond, and is led by artist film makers Karen Mirza and Brad Butler.
