Bolex External Motor Repair

Post by sciolist »

I've a number of Bolex EM, ESM, and MST motors that, because of lack of use, have ceased operating. All were running properly when I acquired them. Can anyone recommend (preferably through personal experience) a repairer for these motors in the USA (I've just learned Procam in Arizona no longer services Bolex equipment)?

I have a nice looking but non working ESM as well! For the States I could only think of Duall. Haven't ask them, they just came to mind.

Thanks. They're a possibility. I've checked the fuses in the Bolex motors and wonder if it isn't just a case of the lubricants 'drying out'. I have Tobin motors for the Bolex H-series cameras of only slightly newer vintage than the Bolex motors, and they continue to run well.
