Kinetta Archival Scanner in Los Angeles?

Post by jamworks »

Does anyone know whether there is a service in the Los Angeles area using the Kinetta Archival Scanner on regular 8mm film? Does Colorlab have a branch in Los Angeles with such a scanner? I know there is a Kinetta Archival Scanner at USC, but I don't know whether I can bring them a "job", or they use it only for their own projects. Do you know?

Reach out to Jeff Kreines, http://kinetta.com/ - he should be able to help you.

Thanks, Andreas. Jeff Kreines referred me to Dino Everett, archivist at USC Hugh M. Hefner Moving Image Archive. I spoke to Dino about it in person at Home Movie Day at USC in October.
