That report was over a year ago. I have seen no new information for some time. A more recent report would be useful.--John S.

I really hope that Wittners involvemnet will not mean that the film will be listed at the same over the top prices that Wittner currently have.
We really need a reasonably priced colour reversal film stock.

Nicola Baldini writes on Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/groups/ishootfilm ... 072/page5/):

"Hello guys, no news does not mean bad news. Just a little bit late with our schedule to start the production. Sorry for the low profile in communications but for the moment it is our style :-) "

Wittner may be doing the perforation for Ferraina. So, don't get your hopes up for low prices. J.S.

In this way, I don't think ferrania will be exit long in the market. except they have their own retail service as all formal film brand did.

Indeed I too would rather see a team up with ADOX /Fotoimpex. Who also have a number of resellers across Europe.

Wasn't it mentioned somewhere that they have all confectioning machines from Ferrania. A bit of a problem is acquiring fresh S8 cartridges and possibly the spools for DS8 or 16mm variants.

I don't think there is problem with cartridges. Kodak sells them at $3.00 each. Minimum purchase is about one box of 150. ---J. S.

As I remember that Ferrania will realest their new films in April, but it is the end of April now, is there any new from them?

Did Ferrania post that themselves? Never noticed that anywhere.

With such projects things can easily take months extra.
Apart from production of film there is packaging too.

Last time I checked, it was only 20th April. Still 10 days to go.

And I would not lose faith in Ferrania even if there is a delay to May or June.
