Canon 1014XL-s and filters

Post by dantheman not logged on »

Hey all,

Can anyone tell me what the lens diameter is for the Canon 1014 XL-S?
I'm going on holiday and am going to get some filters.
Cheers,

Cheers

i suggest spending 1 min on google :)

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=& ... gle+Search

from: http://www.colescameras.com/movie-super8mm.htm :
"Canon 1014 XL-S Super 8 Sound - 9, 18, and 24 FPS; Slow Motion (up to 36 FPS); Single Frame; Interval Shooting at 1 frame every 1, 5, 20 or 60 seconds; fade in /out (picture and sound, sound only, or picture only); lap dissolve (picture and sound); variable shutter angle; self timer (10 second delay/10 or 20 second shooting time); 6.5-65mm f/1.4 Macro Zoom lens; Remote compatible; Power = 6-AA, Filter size is 67mm mounted direct to lens or 72mm if mounted to collapsible lens shade."

or http://www.super8mm.org/camera.html :
"The Nizo 6080, Canon 1014 XL-S and Beaulieu 6008 all use 67mm filters..."

I did that straight after

Thanks anyway.

I'm still keen to find out if anyone has a recommendation for a good carry case in the UK. Do Jessops do anything? UNfortunately I haven't got my camera with me - so I'm going to have to guess the size (can't go any other time).

Cheers
Dan
