ADOX PAN-X 100 Reverso... Any experiences?

Post by gbarac »

Has anyone shot footage with the new Adox super 8 film? Is it really a substitute for Kodak Plus-X 7265? Compare this two films, please...

There is a bunch of B&W stocks from Wittner I would love to try. It would be cool if you could get the 10+ roll discount by mixing them!

I might just do this! They have been great to deal with in the past!

Seems the ADOX is covered in Schmalfilm:

The cartridge is from Klose. After all these years.

Seems the film now made it into the assortment of super8.nl
http://www.super8.nl/english/e_index.htm
price is ex sales tax.
Incl processing is not too bad.

I hope aviphot works in super 8!
Anyone know whether Wittner has a Ds8 perforator? What about an R8 perforator? The aviphot Daniel has is unslit 35. Agfa are also making aviphot available to him in perforated 16mm. I wonder if they would sell him unperforated 16mm as well? Or, I wonder if he has a slitter that can slit unperforated 35 to unperforated 16mm? You certainly need a lot of equipment to service all the small film guages.

IMHO this Aviphotchrome is the hope of the side! Thank you Daniel Wittner!

Geplant sind für den Anfang 16mm 1R und 2R sowie natürlich Super 8. Weitere Formate könnten bei Bedarf folgen.
Their newscolumns states they plan to start out with 16mm 1R/2R and with S8. Other formats could follow when needed... R8 should be the easiest as it is very much 16mm 2R :) But if the difference is only a dye transport setting they might just as easy perf DS8 :D

Noticed that a regular photosupplies webshop in the Netherlands who is a reseller for Fotoimpex
is now listing the ADOX film too. Euro 19.95 including sales tax.

So Fotoimpex is doing its best on distribution. No need for international shipping :)
