Adobe Premiere Pro

I need help on my new NLE, I am just getting started with HD telecine and am trying to set up with Adobe Premiere Pro CS4. I can't seem to use an external monitor/TV to view the picture, Can anyone help?

I normally run an external monitor (SD in this case) off my interface device, for example I use an AJA IO with Final Cut Pro.
The IO has outputs for s-video, composite, and component video. If you're trying to run an additional monitor off an output from your computer, you might need a more fancy output/video card.
