The month of May at Gauge Film

Post by gaugefilm »

Hi all,

Here is a healthy selection of Super 8 cameras, accessories, film and processing services for you to feast your eyes over for the month of May:

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/gaugefilm

I want to remind you that the Tri-X/Plus-X service is new and could really do with your support. I did post a topic about it a few weeks ago hoping that people experienced with B&W film could use the service and perhaps offer me some useful feedback. Unlike my colour processing (which I have been doing for years) B&W is completely new to me and I am keeping my fingers crossed it will all run smoothly throughout this first month. Testing throughout April has gone brilliantly and I'm confident I can produce very good images that rival the bigger labs. In particular I want to thank Richard at Nano Lab who has help me enormously with this service. Without his knowledge and help the service would definitely not be a refined and as competent at this early stage!

So yes, if all goes well this first month with Tri-X sales and developing I will start offering a process paid Tri-X service for a very affordable price in June. After that we turn to telecine. Exciting!

All the best and hope to hear from you
Kevin

Thanks Simon! Any more takers for Tri-X time, roll up!

Ideally I want to get around 8 carts in before I run the first batch so all adventurous filmmakers welcome :)

Cheers

Just to keep you UK super8ters updated.

I'm overjoyed to report I'm now getting stock in from Kodak UK directly. They like my modest eBay shop and were impressed with my services and enthusiasm for film. Anyway... no more worries concerning X-ray machines, overseas postage prices or late deliveries. Should make life a lot easier here :)

In June expect to see 100D and Tri-X carts gracing my virtual shelves.

Just keep filming

That's great news Kev

Also just wanted to say thanks for the terrific job you did on my last roll of 100d. The colours were absolutely beautiful, images pin sharp and the best thing is that i had it back in under a week! :D

What more can I say.....your service is making Super 8 almost instant!

All the best

Simon
