Kodak 7278

Post by 71er »

There is an Eumig Bank camera for sale on a local site including five Tri-X 7278 films for 20 Euros. Obviously quite old - what's the verdict - are the films still usable (maybe getting low contrast)?
Thanks for your opinion!

I've had good luck with old B&W film, I often will buy it to experiment with. It tends to have more grain but is acceptable to work with and I love trying to get more extreme looks out of film.

Since you've got a lot with 5 rolls, I would shoot one test roll with different exposure settings to see how 'good' it is or consider hand processing it as a negative and perhaps pushing it.
