a the schneider kreuznach aspheric ultra wide lens II in combination
with the schneider 1.8, 6-66mm at 6mm.
in combination with the wide lens its about 3mm...very tricky to focus..

the last thing i want is tricky focus with my aging eyes!

I remember using a Nizo 156 macro with a Schneider W/A. Awful to focus. It had to be EXACT. I never did get it right. I wasn't upset when it seemingly scratched itself!

Were you using a 10mm at one time [Cinegon?]

..I own the 10mm, but do not use it that much...
as I work very fast and spontaneously the zoom suits my workflow better...

Not familiar with the use of neon bulbs. It wasn't flourescent, or HMI? Good exposure in center. Goes to black at edge. Good gritty style. Did you really use neon?

Very nice! I continue to be impressed by the Leicina Special! Very nice crispness to the exposed reversal b/w film. Plus-X or Tri-X? Or some funky German emulsion? What was the transfer system used? Any application of Avisynth?

transfer was done at www.avp-vt.de, rank cintel SD telecine to DV
