I'm getting ready to buy another batch of batteries for re-celling. Is anyone interested in committing? Re-celling for 4008 batteries is $75 + Shipping. 2008's are $60 + shipping.

Hello-
That's good news. I do have an old Beaulieu 4008 battery that I CAN'T get apart without destroying it, so I don't know if you would want to work on this or not, but...
If you are looking for business, it would be good to know your location, turn around time, type of cell (nicad, NiMH, ?) name and any other helpful info.
By the way, I noticed that Chambless recells 4008 batteries for $89 plus shipping, so $70 is a good deal.

Nelson,
If you search on my name you'll find posts outlining all of the details you're looking for around the battery manufacturer, type, etc. You'll also see pictures of the process. As far as your battery goes, submerge it completely in penetrating oil for 2-3 days and it will come apart. There are several folks who have voiced interest in battery re-cells lately and I was trying to gauge if others are interested as well.

Hi Tom,
Since I can't reach you by mail, PM or reply on the other thread, I try it on this thread.
You offered an recelled battery for a Beaulieu 2008 and I would like to buy it if you still have it.
Hans
