The Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers (CSIF) is proud to present the 17th Annual $100 Film Festival. Based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, the festival is a three-day celebration of local, national, and international low-budget, independent shorts on Super 8 and 16 mm. Each evening includes a live musical performance with the Film Music Explosion! followed by a diverse and original programme of Super 8 and 16 mm short films.
Film Music Explosion! and Shorts begin 7 p.m., Thurs. to Sat. March 5 - 7 @ the Plaza Theatre in Kensington.
"Prairie Mysticism," a special screening 9:30 p.m., Thurs. March 5 @ the Plaza Theatre in Kensington.
Artist talk with Solomon Nagler at 12 p.m., Sat. March 7 @ the CSIF Office, J2, 2711 Battleford Ave. SW.
