Hi
I searched through the form about the Super 8 Prints Andec makes from Neg.
Has anyone had these prints made, if so were they happy with them?
Cheers

Yes, and I am very happy.
The service is of very high quality. You get your original neg film back of course for future prints or telecine and your print on a different reel. If you send in more than 1 cart you get your films returned on high quality reels in metal cans.
Its not cheap, but quite simply the quality is there. I don't know if anyone else here has used the service, I think I may be the only one.

I have used the service. Picture-wise i think it's really really nice - the colours are like "real" films, which makes such a nice difference from reversal or neg transfered to video. It's the best of both worlds. It's so expensive though. It would be very cool to cut negative and then stripe the film for sound But I dont know if this is possible.

I have not noticed that the camera negative is damaged, but I've not run any of the in their entirity. But I cannot see any damage.
Grain....HA!....you can hardly see any grain! Certainly orders of magnitude less than 64T and far less than 100D...finer even than K40.
What you get, provided you shot well, is a 100% professional looking film.
