Freya, found this on ebay. You could use it as spare parts, or it could be a good one. I try to have two of everything, guaranteed one will work, or both if you're lucky
Your only problem is finding someone who can make one or both work for you.
Where are you?

I'm in England so that wouldn't solve my problem. I'll take a peek inside and see if I can find anything amiss. Maybe I can fix the bauer.pbrstreetgang wrote:http://cgi.ebay.com/MINOLTA-XL-SOUND64- ... dZViewItem

minolta pull down
The light meter system should be directly behind the back of the taking lens. So it's a matter of taking off that side cover it's hard to see exactly how by the picture, but a couple of screws and a few knobs is all.
Run the camera with the cover off and watch. Alway, always, have a used cart in the camera otherwise it wont meter whether it's broken or not.
let me know if you get into trouble.

what about this
http://super8wiki.com/index.php/Minolta ... just_meter
Is your camera similar to this one? If I'm not mistaken , I swear I can see a light meter mechanism just right of the potentiometer the guy is showing you, it controls the light meter setting, so if your light meter is out, you can shift a little arm and change it to whatever setting you like including setting it up to expose 64t, properly.

Re: what about this
I hve to rush off but I'm hoping it's similar, sadly the meter on that camera isn't slightly out but dead, but it can't hurt to look.pbrstreetgang wrote:http://super8wiki.com/index.php/Minolta ... just_meter
