Thanks andre. Supersens offered to host my short so it will certainly be available when it's done. I need to get my own domain name for sure!

Alex,
It plays fine, here on my slow 633Mhz internet computer.
To bad we can not download it.
So I can not see any info about this divX clip..
Size? Sample rate? Key frames?
At the beginning of the clip I see damage on the emulsion.
And the scene with the Polaroid has blown out highlights on the man's hands. Color has changed, too.. Must be the auto settings from the Flashscan.
But the close up scene... man, this is perfect! Skintone is very good.
Never tought the Flashscan could deal so well with negative.
Fred.

Thanks Fred. I copied this from Premiere:
The damage to the emulsion is not structural, i believe. The shot with the polaroid is indeed slightly out of balance with the rest, but that's not because of autosettings. I was there the whole time with a timer. I have no idea why this shot turned out like that, but i am sure it's not the negative that overexposed, so it'll be ok.File Size: 6,89MB bytes

Yesterday i've finished my short film called "Hans" and turned it in together with a portfolio containing some 4x5" and some 35mm b/w photos. I will get a notice from the filmacademy in a couple of weeks, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed. I will try to get a small version of it online in the next couple of days, i wonder what you think about it.

Yeah, good luck to you Alex. I was unable to watch te footage (said there was an error in bottom left of my browser), but the still looked great. If the footage looks like this, I'm sure it will be great!Alex_W wrote:Yesterday i've finished my short film called "Hans" and turned it in together with a portfolio containing some 4x5" and some 35mm b/w photos. i'm trying to get it down to a nice size but it's useless. With an mpeg4 compression at 10% of the quality and max bitrate of 200kb/s it's still 220mb. You will have to wait until i bring Supersens a DVD and they put it on their website, unfortunately. Unless someone has a better ideamathis wrote:Congrats for the completion, keep us updated! And post the damn thing!
it sucks because i really want to show to you and everyone else
