John Paizs "CRIME WAVE"

I've heard so much about this film but have never seen it and can't find a copy to save my life. Does anybody know of a source?

If you are talking about the "Crimewave" Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell did, it is only available used or bootleg. Talking to Bruce Campbell once, he refered to it as "Slimewave", and he said that they bought up the rights and they don't plan of re-releasing it. I've seen it, and can say that I was not a fan.

Heh, yeah, different film. Here's an article on the one I'm looking for.

Weird how I can find dozens of copies of, say, "Turkish Star Wars," and nothing for this film. Sigh.

Er--I dunno that I'm so desperate to see it that I'd travel to Pennsylvania to rent it from Rick's. Good for them that they have it, though!

I'll try emailing the guy who runs the Crimewave site and see if he knows where to buy one. I'll report back...
