Well, operating on the assumption that I had a few friends here and, perhaps, an even larger assumption that I might be missed, even by my enemies, I just wanted to say adios with an explanation for my absence. No drama was intended.

Exactly. After all, it is so much more enjoyable to read the wit and wisdom of people like "yolia" and Jim Carlisle.

Does Roger even have any kind of technical expertise next to them? So he's made a super-8 feature film that was actually released and made money and made some "video projector gadgets" -- how does that even compare to the aforementioned maestros of Super-8? I for one, will not miss his absence one bit. I think he should have left long ago. I will now go back into the archives and read up on all the knowledge that "Yolia" has left us. I will report back shortly with what I have learned.

Can we get back to talking about film?

Making a film is the BEST reason one could have for going away for awhile. Good luck and keep us posted if you shoot film. Meanwhile we will miss your input. The Yale thing, maybe now we can all just move on and let it be.

VERY shortly!

LOL.

At least this thread shows how much we appreciate having Roger around.
The government says that by 2010 30% of us will be fat....I am merely a trendsetter :)

I predict this forum goes very quiet without an agent provocateur.

Bring back M Lord to liven things up!

Well, that must be because you're from Dallas.
