Re: uk voltage

So if in UK is 230V, then / 2 = 115v... in such case for WorkPrinter may be end up nuke the motor. ... which I once did. You should get an industrial transformer that will output 110v or perhaps a 2-3 volts lower. My current WP powersupply outputs 108v I think. I had 115v running for a long time wh...

I sent three rolls in one envelope to Lausanne this Monday, it came back in one envelope this morning (Friday), so this was my fastest K40 turnaround ever(only 5 days), and sadly the latest. The films looked great, happy ending for my K40 era :P

Thanks Mattias,
I thought the difference must be with the light source, not only the negative mode.
I have to keep looking to find out a way to transfer my negative films by myself.

The Flashscan is said to transfer negative films with good results, what is the difference between Flashscan system and WorkPrinter/camera system. Both use CCDs to read the film, so how does Flashscan CCD differ from the "normal" CCD camera system and how does it get rid of that orange col...

There is one solution already available. It is limited to Elmo, Beaulieu and Visacustic owners only, but it works! You need a sync camera to get a real use of this great system. http://www.bebo-ton-film.de/vorfuehr.htm This is a German only site, so use babelfish or else to rough translation. Ericus...

I had a similar problem, which I solved buying Creative´s external Sound Blaster NX2 sound system, and no hums at all! I use Pedro´s P1008GS-U sync control with my Elmo GS 1200 and my WorkPrinter to transfer my sound films. For me NX2 worked fine, and it didn´t cost much. http://www.soundbl...

Ok, here is from my 7008 Pro manual: "With the quarts slide, the film running speed inside the camera is controlled by a high-precision quartz oscillator. ... The synchro quartz slide features: -switch with two positions (24-25 fps) to set the quartz-controlled speed, - a five pin DIN plug deli...

The best way is to use 24 or 25 fps internal sync modules from the Wittner site. Then you can use any digital recorder to get your sounds in sync.

It's the inherent flaw of Beaulieu as Jürgen put it in his book, even all the money to buy a Beaulieu cam is nothing compared to the money you need to repair and maintain it (ten to a hundred times the purchase price per cam and project) because their cams seem to have critical and fatal malfunc...

Well I must say that unlike Elivis, at least Robert Zimmerman wrote his own material. It still bothers me that Elvis is the king but his songs aren't even his own?? As an Elvis fan I have to throw a question: "How many guitarists or drummers make their own instruments? You do not have to make ...

This an old list from 2001, Bavaria doesn´t care to update this list. It has been there for years now. Bavaria sells Beaulieu related stuff all the time on eBay, like this item for Beaulieu projector: http://cgi.ebay.de/16-9-Wechselfilmbuehne-f-Beaulieu-708-Filmprojektor_W0QQitemZ5791308561QQcate...

Check the Uher site, pity it is only in German, but you can "translate" it with Babelfish to get the facts in English. The 4200 Report Monitor is still in business and it is this model (also 4400) which us Super8 shooters used before the digital recorders came around. http://www.hoffmann-c...
