Light tightness of S8 Cartridges

Just a quick question: today I noticed that one Super-8 cartridge I had shot creaks when I push the sticker in the back, about in the middle vertically. The plastic bends a little when pushed on that spot. Now I wonder: how light tight are these cartridges? Anyone else noticed their cartridge not be...

Re: 100 d kodak on ebay ?

Fortunately, these delays have cost them nothing -- renovation of the factory is paid for by the regional authorities That's true but they still have saleries to cover and inputs. Probably because of this they won't be back in the factory until September when everything should be ready for the prod...

Re: How the Sky Will Melt - Super 8 Feature

That trailer looked really good -- great mood and lighting -- and I applaud the effort. Excellent work! It hasn't been an easy journey, I can believe that. However, that article and its tone didn't feel good. I can understand that for those who aren't that inside the film based cinematography scene ...

Re: 100 d kodak on ebay ?

Ferrania is waiting for a new, large chiller to be delivered and installed. After that they'll be finally able to continue with the production. Delays were unfortunate: first they found asbestos during the renovation of the factory, then due to the delay caused by the asbestos removal they weren't a...

I have been looking for footage as well, but haven't found any yet. One'd think that at least Pro8mm would have already released some...

Re: Recalibrating 40/160 cams

Depends on the camera. I recalibrated my Bauer A512 for Vision3 stocks: 50D/200T. It was quite easy, because I received good instructions from a guy who had almost ten years ago calibrated my camera to 64T.
