Since my local Kodak plant/office doesn't offer kodachrome, I bought 15 rolls of Kodak's Ektachrome 7240 color reversal. Has anyone experienced jitter problems with this film type recently?

I work on an AVID Xpress system. Assuming you are work with an NTSC signal of 30 fps, you should shoot your super 8 at 24 fps. When this is transfered in the telecine process, be sure to tell the transfer person to run their transfer projector at 24 fps. This will convert to the same time frame (rea...

I might just go ahead and very carefully remove the cover of the camera to see if I can fix/replace it myself. I wouldn't be worth it to pay for shipping to and from, not to mention the labour cost to the mechanic. I'd be better off just buying another one off of ebay. Thanks for your help. Simon :?:

Prehaps if you have the cameras side by side, you could animate a panorama effect in post. Try setting up one camera on the left. Set up the otherto the right of the first so that the two cameras field of views(framing) make up a rectangle (instead of a square using one camera). This will creat a pa...

Then I noticed the fade/varible shutter slide was jammed, this eventually came lose when I heard something rattling inside. I opened the film compartme...

Cinema Verite

I Can't help you with your question, but I do have a question for you. I once saw a National Geographic documentary which was filmed close to the north pole. There was a timelapsed shot of the sun moving very quickly horizontally across the distant horizon of course, over the duration of what appear...

I've been shooting time-lapsed photography for a while now. I started out using a basic super 8 camera(my first) with a shutter-release cable. My thumb just about fell off after a couple of weeks. Now, I make it a point to buy all my super 8 cameras with an intervalometer. I think time-lapsed clouds...
