I wouldn't worry about him. I'm sure he's just busy.

Re: Something a little faster than ASA64 in a reversal...

I have a couple of carts of 4-X reversal in the fridge...Vidwerk could you possibly tell me where you got your 4 -X processed ? I would love to shoot the carts but have no idea where to send them. Thanks I was under the impression that any place that could process B&W could handle 4-X. I took m...

Re: Something a little faster than ASA64 in a reversal...

I fired off some outdated 4-x reversal in super 8 a couple of years back. 400asa.
I would have thought that it would be ultra grainy. I actually liked the look and found it to be fairly soft.

Re: Should I buy this camera?

I had this model a while back. Nice camera with excellent features. Can't read 64T though. My bigest concern with Bauer cameras are the electronics. Had 3 Bauers go the way of the dodo from electrical issues. The handle twists forward for storage. I would avoid twisting the handle as it can weaken t...

Sweet deal. Don't get those every day.
I actually already have a Canon C-8 67 but it was such a good deal,
I had to jump on it. I'll probably end up selling it.

Large score tonight

Earlier today my buddy gave me a super 8 camera which he got from his boss, turned out to be a Beaulieu 4008. To top it off I won a Canon C-8 43 for my 310XL for 29. eur and a C-8 67 for $19 USD all in one night. Couldn't believe it.
What a score. I'm pretty freakin happy.

Re: What happens if I use 64T in Canon 310XL with red plate up?

I managed to get my Canon 310xl to correctly read E64T. You can see my post with video link under the comments section of the super 8 wiki here.

I think pedro still gets the cart.
But as for empty spot, I agree that lastcoyote should finish it off.

That's great. I'm glad. Thanks for keeping your word RJ.
He told me that he never got around to filming his 10 feet.

Re: Microphone

I used a Sennheiser ME66 on a shoot with the Nizo 4056. Could barely hear the camera running. Got a bit further away and it cancelled the sound completely. They're a bit pricey. I think about $800. For another recent shoot with my Canon 814XL-S, I used a Rode NTG-1 shotgun mic, much more affordable(...

Below a crop of Adam's picture, underneath it Freddy's 'stock' of Vision3 that he shows on his website. Hmmm....

I've always like Plus-x.
Footage looks good. Pretty good for a DIY transfer also.
Those large windows sure helped.

I shot my film for this festival on Saturday.
Is anyone else here a part of this or plans on
attending the sceening in Hollywood on the 13th of Nov?
I'm going to try and get down there for it.
