Re: "Pass The Cart" project, Official Thread
Wow! I shot my segment during earth hour 2008, which will be exactly 1 year ago in 2 days from now. Totally forgot I shot the subway system, needed to fill in the last foot of film. I too made sure to keep within my 10 feet. I watched the meter on my Nizo very carefully, so my guess is that perhap t...

Re: Developing Double X 7222 in a Morse G3?
Remarkable as it is two degrees Celsius off and time is also two minutes or something off. And this in a tank which needs more time. How can you apply 7-8 minutes? You check the time with a timer, watch or something and then on a certain moment the juice is drained. The time lasts till you toss in ...

Re: Developing Double X 7222 in a Morse G3?
I processed Double-X neg in G-3 a few years ago.
I have written in my notes: 7 to 8 minutes at 68 F
Kodak HC110 dil - B. The negs come out just fine.

I have one for sale. Sent you a PM.
It'll fit the 1014XL-S, but you'll need a step up ring for the 814XL-S

Re: the three best super 8 films on youtube
I think "youtube" is the problem here. Check out vimeo. Many examples there. Quality is far greater and geared more to filmmakers rather than cellphone cinematographers. http://www.vimeo.com/groups/super8 There is even a group on there dedicated to super 8, most of which members probably c...

What about a mechanical shutter release?
Have you also tried the release lock switch?

Re: Technical help with Nizo s560 please!
Also important to note that the little red neddle is physically part of one of the iris blades. So if the neddle doesn't move, neither does the aperture. I bought a Nizo S80 a few years with the same problem. Ended up removing the shutter completely modifying it to a shutterless camera. Pretty cool ...

Re: The lightest super8 camera you know
The Canon 310XL is indeed small and light.
I also have a Bell and Howell T 20 XL that is a tad smaller and lighter than the Canon. There is also the Chinon Pocket-8 and the Minolta Pocket Z-8 which aro reported to being the smallest out there.

Re: State of VNF Processing
I've had "Exclusive Film & Video" here in Toronto process it recently for me.
However, I think they are using E6 chemistry. I've also had it cross processed by "Niagara Custom Lab" also here in Toronto.

Re: Nizo professional + Nizo UW III wide angle lens
My logical set is: focus to infinity zoom. macro mode around the mid of the range where the image (vertical line for example) in the split screen (viewfinder) matches. is this the correct setting ? Thanks in advance. Correct. Just make sure you're not at the widest aperture or you'll have critical ...
