Has anyone ordered single-8 from Retro Enterprises ? I had a look at the prices ( good currency converter here ) and it's surprisingly cheap, much less than i expected! Of course shipping is quite expensive alas, but the actual film is process paid including postage apparently. Their 'Retro-X' black...

As far as I can tell, the absolute best solution for putting your movies online for free is The Internet Archive's 'Open Source Movies' section . Completely free, no ads or anything, unlimited space and bandwidth, you can direct link or stream your films... amazing. They have an audio section too......

Wow, nice setup! I rescued a 4-plate 16mm steenbeck from my ex-college when they were chucking them in skips! :evil: Alas, I had to leave it behind when I moved house recently. :( It could probably be recovered though if anyone in Newport/south wales wants a 16mm editing table in not-very-good state...

i'was not saying that there you cant get any vinyl anymore, but the selection is clearly limited compared to cd releases It's not really limited so much as a totally different thing. Of course if you are thinking of mainstream CD albums that can also be bought on vinyl there aren't many these days,...
