Video is few years old, shot with Plus-x in Canon 1014XL-S, transfer was done with workprinter.

Buck Rogers video was shot on super 8 (plus-x in Canon 1014-xls) but it's not in there (yet).
We made 10 or 11 videos with super 8 and one with Commodore 64 / S-VHS.

I read from the new Small Format that soundstriping is impossible with this new film? Isn't Ektachrome acetate based?
Has anyone tried it yet? I hope it's not true or I'll have to go with b/w from now on...

For me, the most important question is: Is the print film acetate or polyester based?

I've been told that the infared light will not fog the reversal film. Not sure about negative. I guess we could ask Pro8mm about that, but I think they also use night vision goggles to work in darkness with all their negative film. I don't know if it's true or not... but I heard that Pro8mm has a b...

Does anyone know if this is acetate or polyester based stock they're using? (editing & sound striping issue)

Well, you could hack an opening in the top. Somebody once suggested to do the same on a Beaulieu 4008...


Only sound cameras will accept the 200 ft cartridge.
Did Canon ever make a camera for 200 ft system?

No, but there are coal light projectors. I have unused box those coals from early 1900something...

Just buy some Kodachrome 40. Small grain, sharp, cheap, awesome etc...

In Helsinki (and everywhere in Finland) you can find K40 from Anttila. It's like local K-mart, you can find one in every town. Stockman in the center of helsinki has K40 and Tri-X.

K40 is 18-19 EUR in Anttila.
