If I were going to design a s8 camera I would make it all manual no auto feature at all. This would keep the manufacturing cost down. Simple features like: Fps 1, 24,25 maybe 56 A lens with a f-stop ring No more dialing in your f-stop readings Manual ASA setting's No built in filters That’s i...

I'm thinking more along the line of a camera being designed in the U.S.A or Europe and then manufacture in china...this could work. Workers there make between $300.00 - $400.00 a month so it is possible.

Has anyone heard of any talk of a new super8 camera manufacturer coming on the scene?

Does anyone think that this is a possibility?

Is there a large enough market?

This is ultimately your fault, not the cameras. You never go into production with out shooting many tests. This was a very unprofessional move by you and you paid the price. good luck next time...

I don't have a manual and was wondering if my Nizo S80 camera will read all of the different asa settings on the new super8 cartridges?
