That's great to know someone is doing them! I'll have to try it at some point even though I'm in the US.
The Kodachrome project is kind of winding down but it's objective was to save Kodachrome/ preserve America as it is today on Kodachrome. It's pretty cool.

8mm/Super 8 Optical Prints
I was just wondering if this is a totally crazy thought or if there is anyone out there who currently offers optical prints to/from 8mm or Super 8 film. Also, is there anyone making copies of super8/8mm film?

Re: best bag for canon 1014xl / 814xl?
My favorite general bag is the Domke F2. All of the inserts in the bag can come out making it one open pocket. It's very interchangeable. A really versatile bag that is built EXTREMELY well! I HIGHLY recommend it!

Re: Canon 518...Tri-X
So the latitude of the film is good enough? I do wish I could shoot the Vision films with the camera but I guess I'll look for another camera to do that but this camera does have manual exposure so I'm all set I guess.

I was wondering if I can shoot Tri-X with it successfully. I thought that the meter will only go to ISO 160 so I was checking in.I am also yet to shoo...

The only thing that comes to mind is Leica and possibly Bolex, although neither of them are French.....

All of the double 8 I have shot has been without a light meter and the results are always great. I have never really wished that I had a meter.

Bolex M8
Hello gang-
I recently bought a Bolex M8 and found it to be all messed up so I returned it. I would really like to buy a good working one. I was wondering if any of you just happened to have a Bolex M8 hanging around that you would like to sell to me.
Thanks
