It's great to see others lists. Dolce Vita is an amazing film I'm haven't heard of the others so I will look them up. Akira is also a very cool film. My favourite Animation is all films by STUDIO GHIBLI and Ghost in the Shell, Metropolis and Astro Boy. I found Clockwork Orange impossible to watch. I...

Repeated watching of Junk , epecially a dump from the ass of Hollywood like Anaconda does not make it a better film.
Ananconda is boring. Ranting like you do doesn't increase a films credability.
The film STINKS period.

I have to say Anaconda is not in my top ten films. Without being a film snob it has very little appeal. I like B-Movies like Death Race 2000 and Steven Seagal Movies like Out for Justice but Anaconda is about as entaining as watching a string of sauages thrash about in a puddle.

Driller Killer

I love the Movie Drilller Killer. It shows how acheivable it is to make a visually striking feature film on a low budget.
It's perfect guerilla film making.

my dad shoots hours of footage on holiday. Watching it is the worst part. Mike understands the power of the image and looks to achieve his point within the short time span. Bowling for Columbine was an excellent example. On a technical level he has acheived a brilliant work that has got people talki...

Tech stuff

The Tech stuff is useful I find on this site....I'm intrigued to know what Power pack you use for your Super-8 Projector?
What projector do you use?
I once projected my film onto a neighbours house at night...that's was fun.

College days

Freaky....Well I remember at college, this girl, a fellow student used to screen them (Pornos) with her Super-8 projector. We we're all studying hard no pun intended. The quality was very poor and made the image even more trashy. Her idea was to defete porn by making a huge monage of images. Needles...

SUPER-8 PORN HISTORY

Super-8 was a rampant format in the Porn industry. Easily reproduced and cheap to shoot and the Porn Merchants had there own bulk load processors....So where did they all go? Then there was the Porno Cinemas. The must have had projectors. Soho in London in the early 70's must have had Super-8 squirt...

GIGGS

I've got about 45mins of footage on my 40GB media drive and it's nowhere near full. What tape format are you importing from? All my stuff if flying-spot telecine dumped down on to DVCAM. You probably know this, but make sure you don't overload your Macs hard drive otherwise you can fragment the Hard...
