Of course - the articles will be in English. "schmalfilm" is published in Germany for 57 years now. There will be the best articles from the last two years in translation and there will be a lot of new, never published articles from authors around the world (Japan, USA, England, Norway, Fr...

You should not subscribe now but just pay $ 10 for the first issue. Then you may make up your mind if its worth $ 79. Just see these arguments: - shipping from Europe around the world; high shipping rates - small number of sold copies - color printing - nearly no ads - translation of manuscripts fro...

Why should it? Kodak wants to get rid of the lab. The E6 process of Ektachrome 64T is simple. There will be 3-4 free labs in Europe that will offer this service. The problems are different: - expensive film plus processing - 64 ASA does not work with 75% of all cameras - European users are not used ...

Folks! It is not really important if it needs 5 or 10 days to get the K40 back from the lab. The only important question is to have a reversal film stock that can be processed and can be used in every camera! Please take this forum topic just for really important questions and answers concerning the...

>for 50 % of all European users are 60 years and older. i don´t think this is good argument, because in ten years they´ll be dead anyway!! Hey, romeojesus! You will get older, too. And Germany, so sorry, is the biggest market for K40. And who are the users? 50% are 60-80 years old. So what? In...

The German Kodak branch is just checking if one year is enough. But this must not have any influence in closing the lab in Switzerland. KODAK may collect the K40 films worldwide, send them to Dwaynes after 2006, pay for it and return them to the customers. That may take months. Fuji (Europe) in Duss...

There are no environmental reasons. Nobody says this. Even Kodak do not talk about this. There is only one lab in the whole world belonging to Kodak and processing K40 - its the one in Lausanne (Switzerland). The only private lab to process K40 is Dwaynes in the USA. The co-workers of the Kodak Swit...
