Re: It exists, it's real!! new Cinevia is here in my hands...

Up to now, there is no final Cinevia product in its own cartridge. The Cinevia you can buy today is a film in a KODAK cartridge. Mr. Klose of GK-Film always said: We will not use the Kodak cartridge because of all those problems with jamming and, and, and... Now he is using the Kodak cartridge becau...

Re: schmalfilm magazine introduces Kodak Ektachrome 100D

In the last days there have been many e-mails and private messages concerning subscriptions of schmalfilm for English speaking readers. Some suggested to put short English summaries into each German article. Do you think this would help to get back some former smallformat subscribers?

Re: schmalfilm magazine introduces Kodak Ektachrome 100D

Hi André, I am familiar with Waghäusel. It is the biggest cine flea market in Germany. About 200 visitors, may be 50-60 sellers. Many movies, a lot of movie cameras and projectors, no photo equipment (like in Darmstadt) only film. Worth the way? Depends on your expectations and the amount of k...

Re: schmalfilm magazine introduces Kodak Ektachrome 100D

I remember the time when nearly everybody in this (and in other) forum said: Ektachrome 64T is bad, Ektachrome 100D would be be much better. Now this becomes true - and of course now the mourning starts concerning the loss of E64T... :)

Re: schmalfilm magazine introduces Kodak Ektachrome 100D

Good news: E100D is priced like E64T, that saves 10 $/Euro per cartridge compared to WittnerChrome 100D or Pro8mm stuff.

Bad news: Plus X is discontinued, also in 16 mm

Ektachrome 64T will end soon, too

Re: Is Cinevia finally available for Super8?

schmalfilm magazine received another CINEVIA test film with some changes of the insides of the cartridge today. One week ago, we already received some test cartridges by GK-Film that have been diffrent in construction details. We do not know if this is a final design... Changes come and go... We are...

The former website of smallformat can be partly seen on http://www.smallformat.schiele-schoen.d ... chrift.asp

This is all information I can provide. There is no complete list of all topics. Just take the whole bundle of all issues and you will get surprised about all the topics :)

smallformat back issues

One year ago, the last issue of smallformat magazine has been published. We still have some copies of all issues (1/2005, 1-6/2006, 1-6/2007, 1-6/2008). If you are interested to buy some or all, this might be the last chance to do so. Just let me have a PM or send me an e-mail. The German issue, sch...

Re: Is there a forthcoming 6th International NOMOS Small Format?

Hi Nicholas, sorry but there is no more NOMOS Small Format Award because the company NOMOS (a wristwatch manufacturer) stopped its support. But the German magazine schmalfilm will support another festival in January 2010, the Dresdner Schmalfilmtage (small format days in Dresden, Germany). There we ...
