Hello, I understand that the problem is not related to Kodachrome or Ektachrome as particular emutions but rather it is a problem of reversal emultions which have a Density Range which goes beyond what can handle a Telecine machine. For instance I have transfered on a Ursa Diamond, a Provia 100F and...

Hello,

It is a very good film stock, with extended latitude and fine grain.
If you are going to trust the in-built lightmeter, be careful in order to be sure that the lightmeter "knows" it is a ISO 200 film.
Happy testing,

Y-Front

Hello, In my understanding, Y-Front is an upgrade for Ursa telecine, and not a telecine machine itself. Y-Front is an upgrade for the cell box of the telecine and gives much cleaner colours, as it simplifies the light path before the photoelectric celds (PEC). ITK was the manufacturer of Y-Front upg...

Hello, HP5 plus is an excelent black & white film stock. It has a ISO 400 sensibility, but you can work from ISO 25 to ISO 800 and also more. But you need to expose all your shots in one precise ISO sensibility and then develop with the related process. (ID 11 or D76 developer but with a variati...

Hello, In my knowledge : 4:2:2 or 4:1:1 nomenclature primarly means the Sample Structure (Structure d'Echantillonage) of a Digital Video Signal. Sample Structure can be considered as the first step in the A/D conversion, followed then by Quantization (or bit depth). So mattias can you explain more i...

Hello,

Yes, I agree with Mattias a Vision2 200T would be very interesting in s8; but I would suggest also a Vision2 250D and if possible a Vision2 for daylight in the 40 to 125 asa range. We are free to dream.
