NASA and 8mm?

Recently watched the trailer for the upcoming docu "In the shadow of the moon" where you have two brief scenes where an astronaut holds something in his hand that looks like a 8mm camera - even more like a Super8 camera. Too small for 16. Okay it seems that they have some special case buil...

Here´s me checking my Canon DS8 mounted on a Cobra Crane while making some nature shots.
Too bad that a truck came a little later and I had to move the heavy crane all by myself :?

Then I´d go for 35x 100ft reels from Wittner = approx. Euro 1.500,- Maybe there´s a discount possible.

can you get ds8 directly from kodak? i get very good discounts from them that i wouldn't be able to get elsewhere. /matt It´s a product manufactured by Kodak for Wittner. Maybe they have the same stock in their catalogue? If you can deduct VAT the prices at Wittner seem also reasonable: 10,56 fo...

Looks pretty nice René! And mattias, I also built recently a small dolly with inflatable tires and even had some old tracks from a Panther- but the whole thing is still quite heavy and you need a second person to operate it. This weekend I do the finishing touches on my Skater and have also alrea...

Anyone here built his DIY- Skater Dolly?

Hi fellow filmmakers, after seeing some homemade skater dollies on the net I´m wondering if some of you filmshooting members have also built one? I started building one several weeks ago and am currently in the finishing stages - and can´t wait to use it with my Canon DS8 and the 100D for an u...

Thanks for the topic! I really love the design of the Bolex camera - looks like a "real" camera with that thing on top...

I´m sure such commercials would get great response if shown inbetween the usual ones nowadays.

Scroll down to:
"Würker Ersatzmesser neu" = "Wuerker replacement blades new"

Hope, this is some kind of help...

I really like the Bauer C700 XLM and C900 XLM. They are both reliable workhorses, lightweight, small and have some features that only some higher models have. I take the 900 often on trips when my "big ones" are not practical.

Re: Labs that Xfer Negative stock to Reversal

Hi, I was just curious who offers the possibility of printing reversal stocks from a negative. Widescreen Centre used to offer this but when I checked last time on their new and impoved website all I could find was stock sales, processing, and telecining. Nothing about printing. Are there any other...
