Hi again everyone.

I'm saving the EXR for a few reels in the Spring/Summer, so I won't be shooting it for a while. Do you think I should just avoid Pro8mm's dubious processing and Telecine? I'd rather go through Todd-AO, they're not cheap, but they're good.

Pro8/48.

Hello.

I've bought four rolls of Pro8/48 (EXR 100T) from Pro8mm. Can anyone tell me a little about this stock? Is it a good one? I supposed it would, beng EXR, but it is 100T, not 50D.

Best Regards.

Did you actually shoot the old film or did you just process it already shot?

Either way it looks lovely. K40?

Good camera for 2x Anamorphic Lenses.

Hi. I'm going to start shooting my first DoP Demo Reels in March or April. When the weather is nicer here in the UK. I'm going to shoot them all through a 2x Anamorhic Lens. Can anyone recommend cameras well suited for Anamorphic Lenses? Also, if I modified my camera to Super Duper 8 which degree of...

Probably the 514XL-S, and possibly the 310XL. I intend to perform the same operation. Please let me know of any victim cameras you find.

Does anyone know whether the Canon 814XL-S measures 64D/100T correctly?

I'm in Newcastle upon Tyne. So Cambridge is probably a bit off limits.

EDIT: In glancing at that blog page it seems I am two years too young. Oh well, just as well I couldn't go.
