This has happened before. Very old Kodachromes tend to turn out clear in processing.

Night time scenes are difficult to meter. I've had good results with 500 speed stocks in 16 mm. You know by experience when you get exposure and when it's not even worth of trying. If the meter shows two stops underexposure, the stock is 7218, and there are some brighter light sources in the picture...

I agree that it's useless for anything else than dictating. The tape speed is 2.4 cm/s which is a half of the tape speed of the C-cassette.
